India market
AI agents built for Indian businesses.
WhatsApp business automation, Hindi and multilingual voice agents, GST and Tally integrations, D2C customer support, and DPDP Act compliance. We are based in India and have shipped these systems into production for Indian clients across retail, real estate, fintech, and healthcare.
What we build
India-specific AI agent builds
Every service below uses tools and APIs that are live and production-tested in India. Not generic chatbots. Agents built for Indian compliance requirements, Indian payment rails, and Indian languages.
WhatsApp Business AI Agent (India)
Handles customer support, sends Razorpay payment links, generates GST invoices, and tracks Shiprocket orders in Hindi or English.
Voice AI Agent (Hindi and Indian Languages)
Inbound and outbound voice agent supporting Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, and Gujarati. Built on Retell AI with Sarvam Bulbul V3.
GST and Tally AI Automation
Classifies invoices, reconciles GST returns, and pushes entries to Tally automatically. Human review before any irreversible filing action.
Real Estate Lead Qualification Agent
Qualifies buyers via WhatsApp in Hindi or English, scores them by budget and timeline, and books site visits via Cal.com.
D2C Customer Support Agent (India)
Handles order status, return requests, and GST invoice generation via WhatsApp. Integrates with Shiprocket and Razorpay out of the box.
DPDP Compliance Review for AI Agents
Reviews your AI agent data flows, consent mechanisms, log retention, and breach notification path against DPDP Act 2023 and Rules 2025.
Why this matters
Indian market AI is a different build.
Language. Generic LLMs handle Hindi but struggle with regional language switching, transliteration, and code-mixed inputs (Hinglish). Sarvam Bulbul V3 is trained specifically on Indian language data and is DPDP-compatible.
Compliance. The DPDP Act 2023 and Rules 2025 impose consent requirements, data minimization obligations, and breach notification windows. Every agent we build documents data flows and includes consent mechanisms from day one.
Payment rails. Razorpay, UPI, and NEFT require specific API patterns that differ from Stripe or PayPal. We have a production-tested Razorpay MCP server that handles payment links, refunds, and webhook verification.
GST and Tally. Indian businesses run on Tally and GST portals. We have MCP servers for both that let Claude read ledgers, classify invoices, and push reconciled entries, with human approval before any irreversible filing.

India AI agent questions
- Do you build AI agents for Indian languages?
- Yes. We use Sarvam AI for voice (Sarvam Bulbul V3 supports Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, and English). For text-based agents on WhatsApp, Claude Sonnet 4.6 handles Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, and Bengali natively.
- Do you handle Meta Business verification and DLT registration for WhatsApp?
- Yes. WhatsApp Business API setup for India requires Meta Business verification and DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) registration for promotional messages. We handle both as part of every WhatsApp agent build.
- Can the agent integrate with Indian payment and logistics tools?
- Yes. We have pre-built MCP servers for Razorpay (payments, payment links, refunds), Shiprocket (order tracking, returns), Tally (accounting), and GST GSP API (invoice generation, return filing). These are production-tested integrations, not prototypes.
- Do you understand DPDP Act compliance for AI agents?
- Yes. The DPDP Act 2023 and Rules 2025 impose data minimization, consent, purpose limitation, and breach notification requirements. We build all agents with these in mind: no unnecessary data retention, explicit consent flows, and documented data lineage. We also offer a standalone DPDP compliance review for existing AI deployments.
- What is the pricing in INR?
- Most single-agent builds cost between ₹1.25 lakh and ₹12.5 lakh. We quote in both USD and INR. For Indian clients we accept bank transfer, Razorpay, and UPI for amounts under ₹5 lakh. See studiobuildit.com/pricing for the full pricing table.
- How do you handle Indian time zones?
- We are India-based. Our standard working hours are 10am to 7pm IST. For US and EU clients we schedule overlap calls in the early morning IST. Daily async updates go out by end of day IST regardless of where you are.
